Overview

October 16, 2026 · Suggest an edit

Ammannia pedicellata 'Golden' is a stem plant that was formerly classified in the genus Nesaea and is therefore still sold in the trade as "Nesaea." The lance-shaped leaves of the 'Golden' form take on golden tones from yellow to orange in strong light, while its stems are reddish. This color provides a soft transition between green and red plants in the aquarium. Keeping its color requires strong light and balanced nutrients; in weak light the leaves turn pale green.
